Little Nomad Play Mat

Non-Toxic Materials

Little Nomad Play Mats are made with EVA foam and a printed top film layer that is rigorously tested to ensure the final product complies with our internal quality and safety requirements.

Our play mats comply with the ASTM F963 toy safety standard, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), the EN 71 Toy Safety Standard, and REACH, a European regulation that governs the chemical content of various product categories, including children’s products. Examples of substances that are covered by these regulations include lead, heavy metals, phthalates, formamide, and formaldehyde.

Play Mats are made by our manufacturing partners in Taiwan.

Third Party Testing

Safety testing of the House of Noa products is conducted by third party, US Consumer Product Safety Commission approved testing laboratories to ensure our play mats comply with our internal requirements as well as federal regulations.

Age Suitability

Our play mats are suitable for all ages (0+ months).


Warning

  • Never leave children unattended. Always use with adult supervision.
  • Before each use, inspect the product.
  • Immediately stop using at the first sign of damage or product weakness.
  • In the event that the printed film separates from the foam, please immediately discontinue use of the product, discard the affected tiles, and submit a warranty claim here.
  • Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep packaging bag away from babies and children.
  • Do not use plastic covering in cribs, beds, carriages or playpens. The plastic covering is not a toy.

Our play furniture is made of carefully selected materials that are rigorously tested to ensure the final product complies with our internal quality and safety requirements. Safety testing of the House of Noa products is conducted by third party US Consumer Product Safety Commission approved testing laboratories to ensure our products comply with internal requirements as well as federal regulations.

Our soft furniture is made without harmful chemicals commonly found in other home products. It’s tested to meet safety standards for substances like heavy metals, flame retardants, phthalates, and PFAS. We also test our fabrics to make sure they’re strong, washable, and built to last—without harsh chemical coatings. And if you want extra protection, we offer optional waterproof liners that keep liquids out without added chemical finishes.

Soft Furniture foam is made by our manufacturing partners Vietnam. Textured Linen fabrics are made in India and our Boucle and Waterproof Covers are made in China.

UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification - Our play furniture is UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it’s been tested for harmful chemical emissions (like VOCs) and meets strict safety standards for indoor air quality—just like the ones used in schools and hospitals. That means it’s safer for your home and better for your family’s air.

CertiPUR-US Certification - The foam inside our soft furniture is CertiPUR-US® certified, which means it’s made without harmful chemicals like flame retardants, heavy metals, or formaldehyde—and it’s low in VOCs to help keep your indoor air clean.

Warnings + Proper Use

  • Before each use, inspect the product.
  • Never leave a child unattended. Always use with adult supervision.
  • Soft furniture is not intended for sleep.
  • Use with caution on hard surfaces.
  • Waterproof liners are never to be used standalone with the outer cover removed - always use with the external fabric cover and foam.
  • There should never be heavy items on top of the furniture when playing. If you are building forts, never put any heavy items on top.
  • When fort-building, soft furniture should be used in open spaces away from sharp objects, hard furniture, stairs, walls or doors.
  • Keep fort-building arrangements low to the ground.
  • Do not allow children to crawl into the fabric covers. Keep zippers completely closed and tucked away when in use (there are pockets to tuck the zippers away after assembling).

Tumbling Mat

Our Tumbling Mats are made of non-toxic foam and vegan faux leather fabric cover with PU coating that is rigorously tested to ensure the final product complies with our internal quality and safety requirements.
